Finished off last week with a three mile run in just a shade under 30 minutes. Today it was time to start week three. I decided to push myself a bit more today and went for a four mile course around the village with hill climbs at both ends! The sun was shining for a change which meant it was dry – however, the downside of this is having every step plauged by swarms of midgies circling your head as if it was some kind of insect Heathrow with the added bonus of inhaling one now and again – bleurgh!
Was happy to post a 40 minute time for the course – was pretty shattered at the end of it though. Still five weeks more training to go before the big run!
Still plenty of time to make a donation – you can pledge some money on my fundraising page.
I tried to post a cool little video from mapmyrun.com which gives you an ariel fly-over my route using google earth but I can’t seem to embed the file.
